Nominations

Nominations are now open for the 2026 awards. The awards ceremony will be on March 4th 2026.  

Nominations are accepted for individuals, organizations, schools, businesses and programs in Hope, Harrison, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Langley.

Concepts of cultural diversity include age, gender, abilities, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion and socio-economic background. Nominees from the Fraser Valley that exemplify the spirit of cultural diversity are encouraged to apply.

Nomination categories:

Champion of Diversity (Individuals ages 18+)

• Nominees of this category work towards building an inclusive society.

Youth Champion of Diversity (Individuals ages 12-17)

• Nominees of this category work towards building an inclusive society.

Innovative Initiative

• Nominees of this category promote diversity in their community in a unique way with project initiatives.

Inclusive Environment

• Nominees of this category embrace cultural diversity and accessibility, creating welcoming environments where all people feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.

Intercultural Arts, Culture and Events

• Nominees of this category build cultural diversity awareness through art, media, cultural groups and events.
